Jennifer is a servant at heart, she enjoys volunteering and community outreach. Jennifer joined the Bridgeport Charter Township Board of Trustees in December of 2014, with the goal of staying engaged in the community that she and her two children love.

Jennifer grew up in Saginaw and graduated from Birch Run High School. Jennifer works for the State of Michigan and is raising her family in Bridgeport Township. She currently sits on the Bridgeport Roads and Drains Board as well as the Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Committee. She is also a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan. Jennifer has served as Chief Steward for Local 6000, a Board Member of the Saginaw Youth Protection Council, and a member of La Union Civica Mexicana. Jennifer looks forward to continuing to be part of the promotion and development of our wonderful community of Bridgeport.

Darrell Thayer is an avid believer in Bridgeport. His goal as a member of the Bridgeport Township Board of Trustees is to stay positive, productive and creative to help complete Bridgeport’s goal of providing a safe, prosperous and friendly community.

Darrell and his wife, Shawn, enjoy their home of over 25 years in Bridgeport. They have raised two sons in the Bridgeport School District. Darrell served as a board member of the Bridgeport-Spaulding Community School Board. He currently sits on the board of the Birch Run Bridgeport Area COC. Darrell serves on the Bridgeport Downtown Development Authority board. He was interim township supervisor until the position was filled by the election of Augie Tausend. He served as a member of the Bridgeport Township Water Board and the Bridgeport United Community Task Force.

Darrell is the president of the family owned business of Iwen Tool Supply Company on Dixie Hwy in Bridgeport Township. He attends SVUPC church in Bridgeport with his family. His hobbies include snowmobiling, boating, camping and being a grandfather.

Calvin WilliamsCalvin Williams

Calvin joined the Board of Trustees in June 2015 and has lived in Bridgeport for over forty years. He retired from Oakland Community College after twenty five years of service. He was given the Distinguished Emeritus Status Award for outstanding service to the college by a committee of colleagues on April 11, 2014. His goal is to help Bridgeport remain as a safe and healthy community to raise a family.

Calvin and his wife, Delores, has raised two children in Bridgeport and both graduated from Bridgeport-Spaulding High School. Calvin was instrumental in establishing Bridgeport Public Library and served on the Library Board for many years. He currently serves on the Bridgeport Planning Commission, Vice Chairperson, Saginaw County Public Health Board, Saginaw County Planning Commission, HealthSource Advisory Board Member, Member, Selective Service Board, Region 1, President, Southfield Village Improvement Association and Board Member, Children’s Christmas Stores. He is also a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He attends Bethel AME Church where he serves as Assistant Treasurer and on the Board of Trustees.

Heather WilsonHeather Wilson

Heather a newly elected Trustee is excited about the opportunity to serve the community she loves.

She is currently the president of the Bridgeport Days Festival Committee and is always looking for creative new ways to make Bridgeport a safe and friendly place to work and live.

Heather and her husband John have been married for 15 years and are raising 3 Children. She attended Bridgeport-Spaulding High School and is a graduate of the Saginaw County 1000 Leaders Program class #21. Heather is an Account Executive at Cumulus Media and has been in Broadcast sales for the past 13 years. Her goal as Trustee is to make Bridgeport a beautiful and enjoyable place to live for future generations.
