The Historical Society of Bridgeport is celebrating 50 years of preserving Bridgeport’s history and artifacts, with new projects and new seasonal displays in addition to our regular exhibits.
The Hartley Barn has been improved; now it has a concrete floor all through the barn. Our antique farm equipment has been rearranged in new ways so you can really see it now. You can even go up close to a real Meadowbrook Cart.
Stop and take a tour of all of our museum buildings, with Laura. Take time to come and see our Village on a Saturday afternoon with your family.
We would like you to see what is being done with the Millage money you voted for before, and we hope you will do again for us in August.
The Bridgeport Historical Village is located at 6190 Dixie Highway in Bridgeport, next door to the Bridgeport Fire Department. We are open all year, Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
All are welcome. We hope to see you here.
