bridgeport wwtp staffWelcome to the Bridgeport Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Plant Superintendent is Dan Billingsley and includes a staff of four Operator/Mechanics and one General Labor personnel consisting of Frank White, Jeff Graham, Brad Cittel, Matt Carstens and Joe Aspin.

The Treatment Plant was updated in 1985 to an Extended Aeration – Activated Sludge (oxidation ditch) Plant. The design capacity is 3.4 million gallons per day ( Wet Weather capacity 11 MPG) with a current average annual flow of 1 million gallons per day. There are six lift stations which support the 48 miles of gravity sewer within the Township. The general sewer district occupies the northwest corner of Bridgeport Township. This district also follows the Dixie Highway corridor southeasterly to Junction Rd and down Junction Rd to Reimer Rd.

With the available capacity this facility can accommodate any type of business interested in locating to the Township of Bridgeport.
