The P & R
Department has been awarded a $10,000 field renovation grant to work on the
Liberty Park and high school diamonds. The field renovations should start
in late March and be completed by the end of April. Thanks to additional
donations the total project budget will exceed $30,000.

The Detroit Tigers
Foundation jointly awarded the Bridgeport Township Parks & Recreation and the Bridgeport Bandits Sports Association
$12,575 to install an irrigation system into Liberty Park for the townships basement & softball complex.
This project was completed in November and will be ready for this spring baseball and softball seasons.
