Pride
Great people never quit!! Why? In a word,
Pride! These people believe in themselves
very strongly and they feel they’re the best
they can be. Such feelings drive champions
to perfection; they want to be number one.
Pure and simple, it is their pride that
makes them number one and keeps them there;
it is their pride that picks them up off the
field after a tough loss or poor
performance.
Proud athletes have confidence in
themselves, through all the struggles and
even the face of constant doubters. They
aren’t necessarily arrogant, but they can be
confident and have paid the price for
success. They have earned the right to be
proud.
Failing is very difficult to anyone who has
pride, and yet failing is very easy to
anyone who doesn’t have pride. You want
pride or more of it; pride only comes from
giving 100% of yourself at all times. You
cannot gain it by a half-hearted effort. The
more intense your effort is, the more
intense your pride will be. The more intense
your pride, the more you will want to
succeed.

Who will have
the edge?
The answer is
simple. The team who is at their best, who
loves a hard battle and who refuses to lose,
will be victorious.
The team with
the most pride will succeed.
No matter what
ever happens in your life – never let anyone
