Bridgeport Township Rental Facility Rules & Information

All recreation areas (parks, pavilions, ball fields, ice rink and buildings) shall be available for public use, unless specific reservations are made.   Facilities are open on a first come, first serve basis unless they are reserved.  Pavilions are not reserved until payment is made and a receipt is issued.  No refunds will be made due to inclement weather.  Reservation will be rescheduled if possible.  It is the responsibility of the party renting the facility to notify the Parks &Recreation Department as soon as possible, to reschedule due to inclement weather. 
All Park rules apply at the pavilions.  Residency is determined by Bridgeport Township water service.  All reservation fees must be paid at the Bridgeport Charter Township Governmental Center at 6206 Dixie Hwy. during regular business office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00am. to 5:00pm).  Upon payment a receipt will be given which will state date, time and authorized signature.  Someone must have this receipt on hand should a question arise.

 All maintenance and upkeep of parks areas are the responsibility of Bridgeport Township Parks & Recreation Department.  Special arrangements may be made to reserve and use parks and facilities on a short-term basis.  The Township Board reserves the right to cancel any agreement with written notice.  The Director shall have the authority to adjust for exclusive local use events on a limited and temporary basis.  Individuals and groups reserving park areas and buildings are responsible for all clean up and pay any damage to property and buildings.  All trash, equipment, and decorations must be removed at the end for reservation. No permanent installation of equipment shall be permitted. The Director must approve any special equipment before moving onto park grounds or into buildings.  No alcohol is allowed in Township Parks or buildings as per Township Ordnance.  No smoking in Bridgeport Township buildings.  All dogs shall be on a leash. Park patrons must clean up after animals. Collect and dispose of feces.  Patrons must control and supervise children.

Bi-Centennial Hall (Senior Center):  The Bridgeport Charter Townships Bi-Centennial Hall is available for rentals during as well as after normal business hours.  You may rent the Bi-Centennial Hall when regular programming is not scheduled.  All rental deposits are refundable if no damage occurs to the rental area and the cleaning checklist is complete.  For more information or to reserve the facility, contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (989)-777-0940.
  • $20.00 per day for Bridgeport Charter Township non-profit groups.
  • $30.00 per day for non-Bridgeport Charter Township non-profit groups.
  • $          per day for Bridgeport Charter Township Resident.
  • $          per day for Bridgeport Charter Township non-Resident
  • $75.00 refundable deposit required two weeks in advance of rental.
  • All groups MUST provided proof of a minimum of $500,000 liability insurance policy with Bridgeport Charter Township named as an additional insured.
Park and Pavilion Rentals: 
  • $30.00 reservation fee for Bridgeport Charter Township resident
  • $100.00 reservation fee for Township Businesses
  •  $40.00 reservation fee for non-resident
  • $120.00  reservation fee for non-Township Businesses
