Bridgeport Charter Township’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)
November 22, 2021 —Bridgeport Charter Township’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) invites residents, business owners, community leaders, and other stakeholders to join and help advise Bridgeport on its proposed Township Municipal Complex project.
“The CAC allows township stakeholders an opportunity to serve their community and assists the township with public outreach for the proposed Township Municipal Complex,” said Augie Tausend, Township Supervisor.
What is Bridgeport's CAC?
The Bridgeport Charter Township's CAC is a group of stakeholders who will advise the Bridgeport Charter Township Board on how best to disseminate information, engage residents, and enhance public outreach for the proposed Township Municipal Complex. The CAC will also provide feedback to the Board on items such as site design and financing. Bridgeport residents 18 years and older who are registered electors are encouraged to apply. We are excited about the CAC and looking forward to working with the group as we improve the Bridgeport community.
The Township CAC requires that every member of a committee meet the following qualifications:
- Appointee is not in default to the Township.
- Appointee is a registered elector of the Township.
- Appointee is not an employee or Trustee of the Township.
