We are proud to present our new emergency notification system we call GeoCast Web®. It has the ability to deliver timely information to thousands of residents via home phones, cell phones, text and e-mail.
Combination fire departments such as ours rely heavily on the commitment of men and women serving as "Paid-on-call" firefighters. These resident fire fighters are the backbone of our responses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer people doing this critical work. This is true in our community, the State of Michigan and the country as a whole.
We are seeing quite an increase in larcenies from vehicles, especially in the Southfield Subdivision area. We would like to remind our residents to please lock your vehicles and keep valuables out of sight. At this time it appears only unlocked vehicles are being rummaged through. We have increased patrols in the area, but we need your help to curb this activity.
